Fair Usage

Fair usage policy

Introduction

This Fair Usage Policy ("Policy") sets out the principles and conditions under which you access and use the infrastructure, compute, storage, security, and supporting services that underpin OrderEazi's websites, products, and services, including OrderEazi Commerce and OrderEazi Central (collectively, the "Services"), operated by Warp Development ("OrderEazi," "we," "our," or "us"). This Policy forms part of, and should be read together with, our Terms of Service and any commercial agreement or licence under which the Services are provided to you.

Shared and Dedicated Infrastructure

OrderEazi operates a multi-tenant platform in which compute, storage, caching, content delivery, and security services are provisioned to support the collective operational needs of all merchants. Each merchant is allocated a fair share of this infrastructure, sized according to the licence tier and the observed operational profile of the store.

Factors Affecting Usage

The infrastructure footprint of a store is determined by, but not limited to, the following factors:

  • Volumes of inbound traffic, including human visitors, search engine crawlers, and automated requests.
  • Catalogue size, including the number of products, variants, images, and associated media.
  • Pricing complexity, including the number of pricelists, tiers, contracts, and promotional rules.
  • Data ingress and egress, including API call volumes, integration payloads, and bulk import or export activity.
  • Connected applications, services, and webhooks operating against the store.
  • Bot mitigation, fraud prevention, and security workloads required to protect the store.
  • Frequency and scale of content updates, including imagery, descriptions, and configuration changes.

Monitoring

OrderEazi continuously monitors platform usage and performance. Where a store's consumption materially exceeds the profile associated with its licence tier, or where the store's activity affects the performance, stability, or security of the platform or other merchants, OrderEazi may take any of the actions set out under Right to Adjust Infrastructure and Commercial Terms below.

Right to Adjust Infrastructure and Commercial Terms

OrderEazi reserves the right to:

  • Adjust, scale, or reconfigure the underlying infrastructure supporting the store (including compute, storage, caching, content delivery, and security services) to maintain platform performance and stability.
  • Apply rate limits, throttling, or protective measures to specific endpoints, integrations, or traffic sources where required to safeguard the platform.
  • Initiate a commercial review where the merchant's usage indicates that a different licence tier, additional infrastructure allocation, or revised commercial terms are appropriate.
  • Implement emergency mitigations without prior notice where required to protect the platform, the store, or other merchants from imminent harm, with notification to the merchant as soon as reasonably practicable thereafter.

Prohibited Use

The following activities fall outside fair usage and are not permitted under any licence tier:

  • Use of the platform to host or distribute content unrelated to the merchant's commercial operations.
  • Activity that materially degrades the performance or availability of the platform for other merchants.
  • Circumvention of rate limits, security controls, or infrastructure protections.
  • Use of the Admin API or webhook infrastructure for purposes other than the legitimate operation of the store.

Notification and Review

Where a commercial or tier review is initiated under this Policy, OrderEazi will provide the merchant with a written summary of the relevant usage data, the proposed adjustment, and the commercial implications. Adjustments will be agreed in writing before taking effect, except where this Policy permits immediate action to protect the platform.

Updates to this Policy

OrderEazi may update this Fair Usage Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to merchants in writing with reasonable notice before taking effect.
